Buck Mountain Climb & Wine

General Information

Join us for a day of hiking and wine tasting. We start with a lovely drive upstate to Lake George. We will meet in Corporate Woods at Albany Movement & Fitness and ride share to Buck Mountain.

We will park at Pilot Knob. After a short safety briefing we will begin the three mile ascent led by our NYS licensed Trail Guides. The hike is moderate with a few challenging spots. The bald-rock summit offers an endless expanse of greenery below with views of the villages of Lake George and Bolton Landing. This is a perfect introduction to the Adirondacks.

When we complete the climb we saddle up and head to the tasting room located minutes away from the trail head. You will enjoy a sample of reds and whites along with some of the best desert wines made in the area.  After the wine tasting you will be free to visit the local shops as we will be right in the heart of the village. All skill levels are welcome!
